Two main things I look for in a remote job is:
- The job doesn’t care about where your homebase is located and won’t adjust your salary because you live in Dayton, Ohio or New York City.
- Lax schedule in the summer; one where Fridays are half-days or fully off.
These two things can help maximize your budget and schedule when travelling.
And remember if you can’t travel 12 months out of the year, you can still use WFH status to travel more than you normally would with a traditional on-site job.
