From the moment I set foot in this beachfront haven, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The resort boasts a modern yet welcoming design, with spacious suites that offer breathtaking ocean views. It’s the perfect blend of luxury and comfort, making it ideal for both couples and solo travelers like me. My check-in process was a breeze, although that stuck to their check-in time of 3 PM. Not a problem for me, I just headed towards the beach.
Beachfront Bliss on Palm Beach, Aruba
One of the biggest perks of staying at Divi Aruba Phoenix is its prime location on Palm Beach. And even better, it is located at the end of Palm Beach where the hotels are a little more spaced out. That means even during peak season you are not swarmed with fellow tourists.
I couldn’t believe that I could step right out of my suite onto the soft, powdery sands of one of Aruba’s most famous beaches. I got a chance to soak up the sun, take long walks along the shoreline, and simply listening to the gentle lull of the waves as I relaxed from my balcony – it’s a beach lover’s paradise.
Peaceful Seclusion, Yet Close to the Action
As I mentioned before, while the resort is conveniently located near the heart of the tourist district, it’s cleverly nestled just outside the bustling restaurant area. This strategic placement provides the best of both worlds. You can easily access the vibrant dining and entertainment scene whenever you wish, but you’re not surrounded by hordes of tourists at all times. It’s like having your own serene retreat in the midst of Aruba’s action.
Dining Delights at the Resort
Foodies, you’re in for a treat! The resort boasts an array of dining options that cater to every craving. From fresh seafood at Pure Beach Restaurant to mouthwatering Italian dishes at Pure Ocean, every meal was a culinary journey. There are even nightly specials with live music. But one of my favorite experiences was dining on the beach, where I savored Caribbean flavors while watching the sun paint the sky with vibrant hues. You also have the opportunity to enjoy other Aruba restaurants in close proximity.
Amenities Galore
Divi Aruba Phoenix takes relaxation seriously. Aside from the stunning beach, you can unwind in one of the freshwater pools or indulge in a soothing massage at the spa. There’s also a fitness center for those looking to stay active, and the friendly staff is always ready to help you plan exciting adventures on the island.
Exploring Aruba
While it’s tempting to bask in the resort’s beauty, I highly recommend exploring the island of Aruba. Simply rent a car, I typically pay $250 USD for a week. You can take a short drive to Alto Vista Chapel where the desert meets the sea, discover rugged terrain and unique wildlife, or visit the charming capital city of Oranjestad for some shopping and local culture. Even if you go to the opposite side of the island it will only take you 25 minutes, 30 minutes with Oranjestad traffic. The resort’s location makes it easy to embark on adventures and return to your peaceful oasis at the end of the day.
