When you think about London cuisine you probably think of fish & chip, bangers & mash, and even tikki masala. What if I told you, you should also add salt beef to your list.
Since as long as Londoners can recall, Beigel Bake Brick Lane Bakery and Beigel Shop have been battling it out for the crown. These two takeaway spots are located just two doors done from each other open 24 hours, every day of the week.
These sandwiches include pickle spears and condiment such as mustard. Now, I tried both and enjoyed both varieties.
Great food doesn’t stop at the salt beef bagel. They both also sell a variety of sweets and sandwiches.
Either of these restaurants, or both are worth adding to your London itinerary.
